Belong with purpose.
Troop 8 has served East Orange since 1916. The troop's current public history identifies it as New Jersey's oldest African American Scout troop and celebrates generations of Scouts, families, adult volunteers, and community partners.
Today's program continues that tradition through outdoor skills, advancement, service, physical fitness, leadership development, education, and fellowship.

Scouting happens by doing: learning outdoor skills, serving neighbors, taking responsibility, and growing alongside a troop.
