If Troop 8 creates a public calendar, it should be a separate, deliberately curated calendar containing only information appropriate for anyone on the internet to see. Internal troop schedules, youth travel plans, campsite details, lodging, transportation, rosters, and real-time location information should remain in protected troop communication systems.
